Requirements

A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any TWO subjects; OR
A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR
A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in ECE with atleast a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)** in ECE subject to the HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval.
HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide relevant bridging courses; OR
A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in the relevant fields with at least a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4:00; OR
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.

Entry Requirement Notes

Candidate without a pass in Arabic Language at SPM level or equivalent is required to undergo Arabic language enhancement course at the beginning of the programme.

Students must pass the Arabic enhancement course as a prerequisite to related core courses. However, this still allows students to take both core and non-core courses that do not require Arabic language enhancement course.
