Yayasan Tuanku Canselor (YTC) UCYP has received a contribution of RM 20,000 from the Pahang State Government via the Pahang State Islamic & Education Committee led by YB Dato\u2019 Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad at UCYP Main Campus, Tanjung Lumpur.<\/p>\n

The contribution was presented by YH. Dato\u2019 Dr. Haji Zulkifle bin Haji Ali Al Hafiz, Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) Director as the official representative for YB Dato\u2019 Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad in a brief ceremony together with the launch of Bulan Infaq YTC UCYP on 23rd February 2021.<\/p>\n

In a statement, UCYP Vice Chancellor, Profesor Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr Ahmad bin Haji Zainuddin said, YTC UCYP has successfully collected more than RM 100,000 in less than a year since it was established. Thank you very much to those generous donors i.e. Yayasan Pahang Plantation Holdings, Bank Rakyat, Planet Mahir, Restoran Sri Kampung and Restoran Jom Makan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe contribution includes cash and goods. YTC UCYP initiative has assisted 375 students from asnaf and B40 category last year even 135 students from the total received free food assistance through Dapur Kasih Program and other charity programs\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cUCYP upholds the command of The Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Allallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj at the 2019 Convocation Ceremony prompted that UCYP to take the initiative in establishing a charity fund to help the students in need\u201d. He said during the launching ceremony of Bulan Infaq YTC UCYP.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) YH. Dato\u2019 Dr. Haji Zulkifle bin Haji Ali Al Hafiz, also urged individual, corporate companies, and other agencies together to contribute with the aim that asnaf and B40 category students will not be left out in education.<\/p>\n

Yayasan Tuanku Canselor (YTC) Director, Tuan Haji Ahmad Fared bin Mohd Din also expressed his gratitude to Pahang State Government via the Pahang State Islamic & Education Committee Chairman YB Dato\u2019 Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad of the contribution to Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP in helping UCYP students.<\/p>\n
