A Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation of the Arabic Language Intensive Course (KIBA) sponsored by Yayasan Pahang, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), and Pahang Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs was held virtually on September 22, 2021, via ZOOM platform with nearly 150 students and parents in attendance.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jalaluddin bin Abdullah, UCYP Registrar, special representative for UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr. Ahmad bin Haji Zainuddin, Mr. Hasnim bin Hashim, Deputy Director of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Organizing Division, Associate Professor Dr. Azhar bin Jaafar @ Ramli, Dean of International Institute for Islamic Civilization (IIIC), Ustaz Ahmad Fared bin Mohd Din, the Director of Al Bayt Al Arabiyy of IIIC, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Hafizan binti Mat Som, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Advancement & Quality), Madam Suhaila Hj. Mukhtar, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Branding & Corporate Communication), Ts. Suriyani binti Sulaiman, Chief Digital Officer as well as other UCYP\u2019s management.<\/p>\n

The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation celebrated fifteen (15) excellent students as well as other participants who completed the two-month Arabic Language Intensive Course (KIBA). The recipients will then proceed with one (1) year studies at Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan.<\/p>\n

In his opening remarks, Ustaz Ahmad Fared bin Mohd Din, the Director of Al Bayt Al Arabiyy, International Institute for Islamic Civilization, spoke about the journey of the two-month Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA), which left the participants with a range of memories. He also outlined the evaluation process in the course system that includes components of creative and critical thinking, language skills, and language reinforcement, among other things. Besides that, he was truly proud of the students’ remarkable results, which was depicted from the significant rise of participants\u2019 motivation and the amount of vocabulary mastered.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Muhammad Adib bin Mohd Saulihin, a student representative from the Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA), expressed his gratitude to all of the academic team who offered a great amount of guidance\u00a0throughout the course. Moreover, Muhammad Adib hoped that the close and meaningful relationship with his friends and lecturers will remain forever.<\/p>\n

Mr. Jalaluddin bin Abdullah, Registrar of UCYP, was ecstatic to see the students’ achievements, which were\u00a0very\u00a0astounding. He was extremely proud because the Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA) is capable to produce a line of students who are proficient in Arabic language in just two (2) months.<\/p>\n

He remarked, “I would like\u00a0to convey my deepest\u00a0gratitude to Yayasan Pahang, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), and Pahang Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs. In addition, thank you to Al Bayt Al Arabiyy (IIIC) and Kolej Yayasan Pahang for successfully organizing an Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA) that has clearly achieved substantial outcomes in offering Arabic language education.”<\/p>\n

He has also encouraged students who will pursue\u00a0their studies in Jordan to discover more about Arab culture as well as utilizing time there communicating with the Arab community.<\/p>\n

The Intensive Arabic Language Course (KIBA) participants from University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP) and Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) had left for Yarmouk University in Jordan on September 25, 2021. Engage and cherish your journey of excellence!<\/p>\n
