6th January marks a historical moment for IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP community with the organization of SoftLaunch – IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP 30th Celebration with a theme – \u201cThree Decades of Excellence”. Throughout the events, the celebration brought us back to the 30 years of victory and triumph that IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP had created along the journey. The glorious journey began with IKIP that later became known as UCYP that is widely recognized internationally. The celebration was held online through ZOOM Platform, enlivened by around 400 participants from IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP staff, students, alumni as well as academic and non-academic partners.<\/p>\n

This celebration was officiated by Tan Sri Dato\u2019 Sri Professor Dr. Noorul Ainur Binti Mohd Nur, Chairman of UCYP\u2019s Board of Governors. It is also an honor to have the UCYP Vice Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr Ahmad Bin Haji Zainuddin along with other Board of Governors members including Professor Dato\u2019 Dr Monir Bin Yaakob, Professor Dato\u2019 Dr Muhamad Bin Muda and Professor Dato\u2019 Dr Norzaini Binti Azman.<\/p>\n

The committee has prepared several videos to refresh the memories of the guests who attended the program. With a tribute video dedicated to the retiree and deceased staff in 2020 and 2021 and appreciation video from 58 UCYP staff who are loyal and dedicated, contributing to the excellence of the institution since 1992. The event continued with screening of videos from Yang Berhormat Dato\u2019 Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad, Chairman, Pahang Islamic Religious Affairs and Education Committee, remarks from the IKIP Group of Colleges former CEO, Tuan Haji Abu Bakar bin Hashim, Honorary Fellow of Tun Ghazali Shafie Institute for Strategic Leadership – Profesor Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr Osman bin Bakar and Tan Sri Dato\u2019 Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman. The memorable videos also included the wishes from staff, students, alumni and industry across the country. The main highlight of the event is a montage for the softlaunch of IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP 30th Celebration which comprised all the journey since its establishment in 1992.<\/p>\n

Apart from reminiscing of 30 years of IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP journey, the organizer also prepared various side activities to liven up the event. Almost 30 prizes were prepared for the lucky draw for all invitees. Even though the event was held via online, the idea of using an online spin wheel managed to bring excitement to the attendees. Apart from that, Kahoot Games quizzes were prepared for attendees which challenged their knowledge on the history of IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP.<\/p>\n

This event not only memorialized the 30 years of excellence of UCYP but also strengthened the relationship between IKIP\/KYP\/UCYP community.<\/p>\n
