UCYP is transforming via an intelligent journey \u2013 another milestone for the university growth. A seminar on 5G was successfully organized by Faculty of Science and Technology, led by the Chief Digital Officer of UCYP that was held at the university Main Campus, Tanjung Lumpur.<\/p>\n

The presentations from the 5G experts from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. added more values to the 5G Seminar: Beyond Imagination apart from the 5G poster design competition.\u00a0 In addition to that, the presence of the Chairman of the Pahang State Science, Technology, Green Technology, Communication and Multimedia Committee, Yang Berhormat Dato\u2019 Mohammad Fakhruddin Bin Mohd Ariff reflected the state\u2019s mission and commitment towards the growth of Digital Pahang.<\/p>\n

During this seminar, two (2) experts were invited to share their expertise on the technology revolution of 5G, namely Prof. Dr. Tharek Abd Rahman, an Electrical Engineering professor from UTM and Mr. Khor Yew Shin, Senior Strategist from the Digital & Technology Department of Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, there was a talk on Social Media Awareness given by Puan Normariza Abdul Manan from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 5G seminar is one of the platforms for technological innovation initiatives that is in line with the national agenda as highlighted in the 2020 Budget\u201d, said YB Dato\u2019 Fakhruddin. Meanwhile, in his speech,Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bin Hj. Zainuddin, the Vice Chancellor of UCYP highlighted the role of UCYP in producing skilful workers through its program like Bachelor in Software Engineering. \u201cThe implementation of 5G in Malaysia will feature a long-term plan in advancing communication and technology. The 5G is not only bringing the \u2018real time\u2019 phenomena, but also creating more ways for new inventions\u201d, added him.<\/p>\n

At the end of the ceremony, YB Dato\u2019 Mohammad Fakhruddin Bin Mohd Ariff was pleased to present the prizes to 5G poster design winners. The first place was won by the group of UCYP students, Muhammad Yusri Bin Zahari, Muhammad Harith Bin Muhammad Syahnazs, Nur Qasrina Binti Mohammad Asri, Muhammad Aiman \u200b\u200bBin Azlan, Muhammad Amien Farhan Bin Suffian and Vivasvan Breshantas Selvaraj from the Diploma in Civil Engineering followed by Muhammad Helmi bin Hj Muhammad Khir as the second place winner and Ahmad Syihabuddin bin Mohamad Saat at the third place.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t
