UCYP has successfully hosted the UCYP & KYP Academic Excellence and Co-curriculum Awards at the Yayasan Pahang Complex on 10th<\/sup> December 2019.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held to appreciate the hard work of UCYP and KYP students in achieving outstanding results in academic and co-curriculum activities.<\/p>\n

Spearheaded by the UCYP Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International) Office, the program is a part of encouragement for students to continue their hard work with a more vigorous drive so that these outstanding achievements can be further enhanced in the future.<\/p>\n

The total number of students earning a GPA of 3.5 and above for the June-November 2019 period was 423, involving students from semester one (1) up to the final semester.<\/p>\n

For UCYP, the number of students being awarded Dean List (GPA 3.5 and above) was 173, while the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Award (GPA 3.7 and above) registered 161 recipients with the Vice-Chancellor Award (GPA 3.9 and above) comprising 64 students.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) boasts 25 achievers for the GPA 3.5 and above, in which 21 recipients were listed in the Dean\u2019s list award, and four students have made it into the KYP Chief Executive Award with GPA 3.8 and above.<\/p>\n

Apart from academic achievements, the ceremony also celebrated the accomplishments of students excelling in the co-curriculum activities.<\/p>\n

Accolades were also awarded to six (6) categories of achievements, namely the Leadership Icon, Volunteer Icon, Sports Icon, Uniform Body Icon, Arts Icon, and Best Team (E-Sports), a gesture made as an appreciation for their talents showcased in the co-curriculum field.<\/p>\n

UCYP Vice-Chancellor Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ahmad bin Haji Zainuddin said that the significant number of award recipients inevitably elevated UCYP as an education centre that produces outstanding and good quality graduates not only in academic but also in the co-curriculum.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t
